Advent Resources

Advent invites us to live in the tension between the darkness we feel and the light we know is coming.

To help you walk with intention through this season, we have gathered resources that steady the heart and lift the eyes. These readings, prayers, and practices are simple guides for those who want to linger in hope and let the promise of Christ shape the days leading to Christmas.

This season forms us into people who watch and hope. People who tell the truth about sorrow while anchoring their hearts in the promise of joy. Let Advent awaken your longing and your hope as we watch together for the coming of the King.

  • What time is the service?

Our Christmas Eve event is on December 24 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

6:30PM - Refreshments, Firepit, Caroling (Outside)

    7:00PM - 7:55PM - Christmas Eve Service (Inside)

  • What Do I Wear?

Come as you are. Our church family in St Pete is pretty casual, even on Christmas Eve. You will see everything from shorts and a button down to a simple dress or jeans and a T shirt. Wear whatever helps you feel comfortable and ready to worship.

  • Parking

We have a parking lot on the west side of our property near the playground, and individual parking spaces on the north side. You’re also welcome to park in the grass along 76th Avenue or 5th Street.

Once you’ve parked in our parking lot on the West side by the playground, our handicapped access on the North side, or on our grass lots, you can access our courtyard, between our two main buildings where you will see our greeters.

  • Is there something for my kids?

Yes. Children are welcome. Younger kids can enjoy simple activities and older kids are encouraged to join the service with family. Christmas Eve is a family friendly night.

  • Do I need to register?

No registration is needed. You can simply come and join us.
