Local Opportunities to Serve
Sunday Hospitality
This ministry extends hospitality to our guests. The team is made up of individuals who love to smile and welcome people on Sundays. Serve coffee, greet others, or help our team connect to others.

Ushers
Our ushers welcome people as they enter our Sunday gathering while also helping with various tasks that make our time together on Sunday mornings meaningful and engaging.

Communion Prep
At Gulf Coast, we have communion every Sunday. This ministry team is comprised of individuals who prepare the communion elements each week.

Communion Serving
At Gulf Coast, we have communion every Sunday. This ministry team is comprised of individuals who who assist our elders to serve communion to our attendees.

Safety
This ministry team sets the safety protocols for on-campus emergencies. They collaborate extensively with our leadership team and children’s ministry.

New Creation Kids
This ministry team serves the families and young people of our church on Sunday mornings. A background check is required to participate in this ministry.

NCK Check-In
This team serves families on Sunday mornings by managing the check-in kiosk, ensuring each child is safely accounted for and released only with their unique bar-coded tag.

Prayer Ministry
Minister by listening and praying for others after the service.

Volunteer Roles Available
Our music team practices together throughout the year, in addition to Sunday mornings and play mostly on 5th Wednesdays and Sunday mornings. They collaborate closely with the elders, sound team, and slides team.

The graphics team runs all slides and presentation elements on Sunday mornings, including song lyrics, scripture verses, announcement slides, and sermon illustrations.
Leader: Aaron Freeman
The sound team creates both the in-house mix as well as our livestream mix. They use a digital board, which enables the band to control their own in-ear monitors.

This team rotates weekly to record the sermon live on social media, serving those who can’t attend in person.

Special Events
Help with events like Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, and others by planning, setting up, and creatig formative times for the church.

Welcome, prepare food, and help with cleanup for various events such as our Welcome Lunch, Foundations, and others.
